We’re back!

That’s right, after a brief summer hiatus, the Muncie Beer Rhetoric meetings are back in swing!

Muncie is (no longer!) the newest satellite site for Beer Rhetorics, and we’re excited to get into a weekly groove throughout the school year. Although these meet-ups have just begun, this site continues the important community aspect of beer rhetoric. People get together to share discussions, stories and news from around Muncie and Ball State University, where many of our colleagues and friends work and go to school.

We are still working to negotiate the best time and place to meet, so watch this space for updates and news about Muncie Beer Rhetorics!

Beer Rhetorics is a time for relaxed conversation and community building, and is open to all who are interested. If you feel you’re not conversant in rhetoric, never fear, as our discussions move over diverse topics like sports (go Canucks!), internet memes, teaching, reality TV, blenders, parenting, religion, dance moves, The Vegan Blackmetal Chef, and the joys (and hardships) of being a graduate student.

The next Muncie meet up is Thursday, August 25th at Scotty’s Brewhouse on University Ave. in the village. We have been told that Scotty’s is rolling out a new beer menu and should be a great meeting place to get back into the swing of things!
